SEA-CARE, the industry working group initiated by Inmarsat Maritime has the goal of improving safety standards across global shipping. The group met for the third time in February and has agreed that specific datasets including crew welfare survey results could complement Inmarsat’s GMDSS data to provide a more complete picture of safety at sea.
